Cindy J. Schmidt was born in Calgary, Alberta and had a wonderful upbringing in Regina, Saskatchewan after her parents moved when she was a young child. Cindy has completed several art classes and continues to learn from her network of artist friends.

Inspiration for her art comes from vacations in France and Hawaii as well as several adventures throughout Canada, US and Mexico with her husband of 40 years, Jeffrey.

A member of the HeARTland Artists' Guild since 2007, Cindy primarily works with oil, acrylic and alcohol ink as well as mixed medium and graphite.

Cindy participates in Artists Who Care and displays her art at the Allan Blair Cancer Pasqua Hospital, with donations to the Cancer agency from every painting sold. Her paintings are also on display at the Kidney Health Clinic in Regina, Saskatchewan.
